Catturare lโessenza di Milano in un solo giorno รจ una sfida che ogni fotografo dovrebbe affrontare. In questo fotoreportage di 50 scatti, ho voluto raccontare il cuore pulsante della metropoli, dove il marmo del passato dialoga costantemente con il vetro del domani.
La luce del mattino ha esaltato le linee avanguardistiche del Bosco Verticale e della Piazza Gae Aulenti, simboli di una cittร che respira. Spostandomi verso il centro, ho giocato con le geometrie classiche della Galleria Vittorio Emanuele IIe la maestositร gotica del Duomo, cercando prospettive insolite per fuggire dai clichรฉ.
Tecnicamente, ho lavorato molto sui contrasti: dalle lunghe focali per isolare i dettagli dei palazzi moderni, allโuso di un grandangolo spinto (come nel fish-eye in Galleria) per enfatizzare le architetture avvolgenti. Non รจ mancato lo street-style, immortalando lo storico tram 1600 che taglia il traffico, portando con sรฉ un sapore di altri tempi.
Milano non รจ solo grigia: รจ un mosaico di riflessi, design e vita frenetica che aspetta solo di essere inquadrata.

Milan in 50 Frames: A Visual Journey Between History and the Future
Capturing the essence of Milan in a single day is a challenge every photographer should embrace. In this 50-shot photo essay, I wanted to capture the pulse of the metropolis, where the marble of the past is in constant dialogue with the glass of tomorrow.
The morning light accentuated the avant-garde lines of the Bosco Verticale and Piazza Gae Aulenti, symbols of a city that breathes. Moving toward the center, I played with the classical geometries of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Gothic majesty of the Duomo, searching for unusual perspectives to escape the clichรฉs.
Technically, I focused heavily on contrasts: from long focal lengths to isolate the details of modern buildings, to the use of an ultra-wide-angle lens (like the fish-eye in the Galleria) to emphasize the enveloping architecture. There was no shortage of street photography, capturing the historic 1600 tram as it cuts through traffic, carrying with it a flavor of times gone by.
Milan is not just gray: it is a mosaic of reflections, design, and fast-paced life just waiting to be framed.

Saisir l’essence de Milan en une seule journรฉe est un dรฉfi que tout photographe devrait relever. Dans ce photoreportage de 50 clichรฉs, j’ai voulu raconter le cลur battant de la mรฉtropole, oรน le marbre du passรฉ dialogue constamment avec le verre de demain.
La lumiรจre du matin a sublimรฉ les lignes avant-gardistes du Bosco Verticale et de la Piazza Gae Aulenti, symboles d’une ville qui respire. En me dirigeant vers le centre, j’ai jouรฉ avec les gรฉomรฉtries classiques de la Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II et la majestรฉ gothique du Duomo, en cherchant des perspectives insolites pour sortir des sentiers battus.
Techniquement, j’ai beaucoup travaillรฉ sur les contrastes : des longues focales pour isoler les dรฉtails des immeubles modernes ร l’utilisation d’un grand-angle extrรชme (comme le fish-eye dans la Galerie) pour accentuer les architectures enveloppantes. Le style “street” n’รฉtait pas en reste, avec l’immortalisation du mythique tram 1600 qui fend la circulation, apportant avec lui un parfum d’autrefois.
Milan n’est pas seulement grise : c’est une mosaรฏque de reflets, de design et de vie frรฉnรฉtique qui n’attend que d’รชtre cadrรฉe.
