Grazie alla compressione focale del teleobiettivo, sono riuscito a documentare la sua concentrazione e i suoi gesti precisi mantenendo una prospettiva intima senza essere invasivo. I tested the Sony A7RV paired with the Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 G SSM lens throughout the streets of Venice. The A7RV’s high-resolution sensor works in perfect synergy with this glass, extracting impressive detail and superb micro-contrast, which is ideal for black and white photography.
The first gallery captures the dynamic soul of Venice: gondoliers and life flowing along the canals. Here, the f/2.8 aperture allows for isolating subjects with a smooth and elegant bokeh. The second part of the test focuses on a painter at work. Thanks to the telephoto focal compression, I was able to document his concentration and precise gestures, maintaining an intimate perspective without being intrusive. This test confirms the extraordinary sharpness and character of this professional lens.
