IT Lasciata la costa, il Portogallo svela uno dei suoi segreti più affascinanti: la Valle del Douro. Durante la mia recente e breve visita, sono rimasto incantato dalle spettacolari colline terrazzate che si specchiano sulle acque calme del fiume. Questo paesaggio, scolpito dalla natura e dal lavoro secolare dell’uomo, offre geometrie perfette per l’obiettivo fotografico, muovendosi tra i toni caldi della terra e il verde intenso dei vigneti.
La luce che accarezza i pendii crea giochi di ombre e contrasti straordinari, rendendo ogni scatto unico. In questa breve selezione fotografica ho cercato di catturare l’atmosfera sospesa, la quiete e la maestosa armonia di una terra dove il tempo sembra scorrere con un ritmo antico.
EN Leaving the coast behind, Portugal reveals one of its most fascinating secrets: the Douro Valley. During my recent, brief visit, I was spellbound by the spectacular terraced hills reflecting upon the calm waters of the river. This landscape, sculpted by nature and centuries of human labor, offers perfect geometries for the lens, shifting between the warm tones of the earth and the deep green of the vineyards.
The light caressing the slopes creates extraordinary interplays of shadows and contrasts, making every shot unique. In this brief photographic selection, I sought to capture the suspended atmosphere, the stillness, and the majestic harmony of a land where time seems to flow to an ancient rhythm.
