A pochi giorni dal temporale del 17 agosto, la natura ha voluto concedere il bis, regalandoci uno spettacolo ancora più suggestivo e imponente. Dai campi dorati dell’entroterra ho assistito all’avvicinamento di una spettacolare shelf cloud(nube a mensola), una monumentale muraglia scura che avanzava compatta verso la costa.
In questa sequenza di scatti si coglie la transizione drammatica dell’atmosfera: il contrasto cromatico tra la luce calda del granoturco maturo e i toni plumbei del cielo, mentre i profili dei grattacieli di Jesolo sullo sfondo venivano lentamente inghiottiti da un fitto velo di pioggia.

Just days after the thunderstorm of August 17th, nature treated us to a breathtaking encore. Standing among the golden cornfields of the countryside, I witnessed the arrival of a majestic shelf cloud—a dark, colossal wall sweeping steadily toward the coast.
This photo sequence documents the dramatic atmospheric shift: the stark contrast between the warm tones of the ripe fields and the brooding, deep grays of the storm, as the silhouette of Jesolo’s skyline was gradually enveloped by a dense veil of rain.
